Direct Access Mammography Pathway

Please find attached the policy and instructions as to how to refer a patient from primary care for a mammogram. 

Please note this service is suitable for those patients who are;
  1. Female and over the age of 40 years of age
  2. Have breast pain in the absence of clinical signs.
  3. No prior mammograms in the past 12 months
  4. No history of breast cancer in the last 5 years.
